Community Readiness Criteria
Summary
This section emphasizes the need for stakeholders who are willing to mobilize resources, collaborate with diverse groups, and act on community indicators. It highlights the importance of logical representation, access to data, and willingness to contribute insights related to belonging, health services, socio-economic status, and culture.
Our four criteria for community readiness:
1) Willing & Motivated
2) Meaningfully Represented
3) Committing to using and contributing to data
4) Has resources to mobilize (human, financial, public, political).
- Willingness to mobilize the resources and convene community and diverse stakeholders groups
- Ability to act on and report on community indicators
- Logical correspondence between the stakeholders being convened and the population
- Data is available for this community and local groups willing to contribute and collect data for population insights
